Toronto After Dark Film Festival

This year is the lucky 13th for Toronto After Dark, which “has built a reputation for quality films and a quality experience for both attendees and moviemakers,” says one panelist. Another deems it “One of the greatest festivals in North America, and a terrific place to spend a week watching horror movies.” Over 10,000 viewers flock to each edition to check out the many Toronto (and occasional North American) premieres of genre features and shorts, and to hobnob with the people who made them at assorted events. While TAD, founded and still run by Adam Lopez, always makes room for the latest Canadian fare, you’ll find terror treats from across the world among its programming.
