LA Femme, Inc’s (lafemme.org) primary division is LA Femme Film Festival; Foundation Films, our other main division, is a distribution company open to both men and women independent filmmakers seeking a more creative and out-of-the-box marketing team to distribute their films domestically and internationally.
The chief business of film festivals is discovering emerging artists, presenting alternative points of view, platforming films and filmmakers that have strong enough legs to secure domestic and world wide distribution. OR AT LEAST THEY SHOULD!
Film Festivals and their events have become a lucrative and powerful advertising tool and some support particular groups. Our goal is to remain a step ahead of our competition through exemplary programming, networking, and panel events. A classic professional atmosphere will create a sense of ‘opportunity’ for participants. Our operating credo is: “By Women for Everyone.”
