Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint)
A member of the seafaring House of Velaryon, Corlys Velaryon became involved in the Targaryen family when he married Rhaenys Targaryen (Viserys’ and Daemon’s first cousin). His status as Head of the Royal Fleet puts him right at the center of the upcoming battle for the Iron Throne, and the House of Velaryon’s expansive Navy makes him a powerful ally. While Corlys’ loyalties are not known, it seems that Alicent Hightower is not his biggest fan. And no matter where the Head of the Royal Fleet’s allegiances lie, it seems inevitable that he will be swept into an all-out Targaryen war.
House of the Dragon will be released on HBO Max on August 21.
