Filmfestival Muenster

The Filmfestival Münster invites filmmakers to submit their entries for the European feature film competition, which is an integral part of our festival for the third time round. The focus of this year’s competition is the theme “risk.” Risk often predicts change and the willingness to take chances, to be brave, but also to act in despair. People make business of risk or are forced to live under risky conditions due to the changing society. Few take chances to bravely point out present abuses and stand up for their own convictions. We would like to investigate this basic concept in the contributions made to the European Feature. There will be special attention for debut films by young European directors.

Feature films—longer than 70 minutes, on the theme “risk.”
