Film Tax Incentives Symposium at the Tribeca Film Festival

Learn what qualifies you for film tax incentives and how to use them as part of production financing during the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. On April 23rd, Tax Credits, LLC will present a symposium featuring programs offered specifically on the East Coast.

Hosted by Robert Lupone, dean of the Graduate School of Drama at The New School, the seminar will consist of a panel of film commissioners from east of the Mississippi as well as Jeff Begun from The Incentives Office. The rest of the panel include:

Steve Gorelick from the New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission

Aaron Syrett from the North Carolina Film Office

Sharon Pinkenson from the Greater Philadelphia Film Office

George Norfleet from the Film Division of the Connecticut Commission on

Culture & Tourism

Nick Paleologos from the Massachusetts Film Office

Ward Emling from the Mississippi Film Office

Susan Simms from the Florida Entertainment Commission

Jamie Cope from the West Virginia Film Office

The Tribeca Film Incentives Symposium will take place on April 23rd from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. at The New School’s Tishman Auditorium. Donations to the School of Drama Scholarship Fund will be accepted in lieu of an admission fee.
