The Boyle Heights Latina Independent Film Extravaganza is back for its third year!
Founder Josefina Lopez and everyone at CASA 0101 are proud to announce the return of BHLIFE taking place on December 7th – 9th. BHLIFE is a festival that features the creative work of Latina film directors from all across the country. An event dedicated to the ongoing effort to present the complexities of our community and the women within it, and break away from the historically negative and stereotypical images of Latin@s in film through the creative work of Latinas in front and behind the lens.
