Start Your Engines With the BMW of Sarasota Short Film Contest

Aspiring moviemakers looking for a life in the cinematic fast lane should be aware of a new short film contest sponsored by BMW of Sarasota, Florida.

According to the BMW of Sarasota website, submissions for the contest must be a minimum of 60 seconds and no longer than 3 minutes in length. Short films submitted must mention BMW of Sarasota and the BMW brand. Any genre (Action, comedy, drama, etc.) is acceptable as long as the material is not deemed offensive.

All entries for the contest must be submitted by July 15th. A grand prize of $10,000 will be awarded to the winning moviemaker.

MM spoke with Victor Young, BMW of Sarasota President, to learn more about the company’s first-ever short film contest.
