The Blonde trailer and Oppenheimer trailer are here; Better Call Saul hints at a major Breaking Bad moment. All in today’s Movie News Rundown.

But First: Our list of the Best Film Schools in the U.S. and Canada is now live! Congratulations to all!

Blonde Trailer: Well, this looks incredible. Here’s the brand-new trailer for Blonde, directed by Andrew Dominik, with Ana de Armas as Norma Jean Baker, who existed onscreen as Marilyn Monroe. The trailer confirms that the film is rated NC-17, and reveals its release date — September 28. Here’s Margeaux Sippell’s breakdown of the Blonde trailer, and the trailer itself:

Any Other Big Trailers We Should Know About? Yes, here’s the teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, about atom bomb creator Robert J. Oppenheimer. It’s been playing for a week in theater before Jordan Peele’s NOPE, and was just released online. I love the sound design at the end, and the frame of Oppenheimer being “the most important man in the world.” (Of course we all know it was actually Jesus, but that’s okay, it’s only a movie.) The film, starring Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer, with a supporting cast that includes Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon and Rami Malek, will be out July 21, 2023. Here’s the teaser (or click here if it says “video unavailable”):

Jesus? Yeah, I’m sticking with Jesus. Someone should make a movie about him! Oppenheimer will only be the most important man if his creation ends up destroying the world, and if that ends up happening, very few people will take time to think, “ah, it was Oppenheimer, after all.”

Congratulations: To Aaron Hosé’s One Pint at a Time, which took three awards, including Best Feature Film, Best Documentary, and the Audience Award for Best Feature at the sixth edition of Waco’s Deep in the Heart Film Festival. Micah Stathis won for Best Feature Film Director for The Sisters Karrasand Juliet Landau won for Best Performance in a Feature Film for A Place Among the Dead. Deep in the Heart is one of our 20 Great Film Festivals for First-Time Moviemakers, and you can learn more about the winners and all the films at the festival’s website.

The Next Episode of Better Call Saul: Is called “Breaking Bad,” The AV Club reports. Could this be the one where Walt and Jesse (Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul) turn up for the first time? Feels like it.  Either way, the title has a nice closing-the-circle quality, because the episode of Breaking Bad that introduced the Saul Goodman character played by Bob Odenkirk is called, yes, “Better Call Saul.”

A Nice Tweet From Bob Odenkirk: To mark the anniversary of his heart attack. We’re very glad he’s OK.
