One actor who hasn’t been recast is Justin Roiland on Rick and Morty
In an episode audio commentary, Roiland confirmed his character Rick Sanchez is of Latino descent. However, in a 2014 Comic Con interview, Roiland said Rick’s cultural background was irrelevant, explaining, “We don’t see race, we don’t see color. We just see people.” Still, critics on Twitter believe the animated series should recast.
