Hodson continued: “If you go back and you read those scripts — and I recommend anyone who’s interested in screenwriting does, because they’re fantastic screenplays, and True Romance in particular is very different from the final movie — those screenplays really satisfyingly hit the beats that you expect them to hit on exactly page 30, page 60, page 90. It’s really a remarkable feat.”
