“After traveling the globe in search of new talent and work, watching countless films and hours upon hours of debate with the Programming team, the day has finally come when we announce which films will play at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in January,” says Sundance director John Cooper.
Cooper and his team have announced the films that will screen as part of the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions in January, with the fest’s out-of-competition selections to be announced tomorrow.
Indie darling and 2010 Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga will compete with her directorial debut, Higher Ground, about would-be fundamentalist who begins to question her choices.
