PowerProduction Software Announces StoryBoard Quick 6
PowerProduction Software is releasing its newest version of StoryBoard Quick, promising enhancements that will make visually planning media projects easier and faster. StoryBoard Quick 6 is equipped with new artwork and new storyboarding shortcuts, providing a streamlined user experience and integration of pre-production tasks. Improvements to the new version also include deeper integration with screenwriting applications such as Final Draft and the ability to import from scheduling and breakdown programs from the likes of Gorilla Film Production Software and Entertainment Partners.

There are a lot of related software on the market so a comparative test would be a lot more useful; I’m using Movie Maker ever since XP has been released and I’m pretty pleased of its features.

StoryBoard Quick 6 offers enhanced productivity to filmmakers who are looking for a starting point to the digital workflow from quick start-up performance to deeper integration with screenwriting applications such as Final Draft, Montage, Storyist, etc. and batched image imports. But some of my friends said me that they are facing problem for some file extensions while working with this software.

Unfortunately films have become an industry of who has the better technology, the best IT guy, the best visual effects technology or the latest private cloud solution. It used to be about art and life, and I hope more independent movie makers go out there and continue making beautiful films.
