Daniel Radcliffe takes on his first post-Harry Potter film role in the horror flick The Woman in Black, out this Friday. The stereotypical "child actor" burns out early, oftentimes succumbing to drug and/or alcohol addiction before ending up in some "Where Are They Now?" special issue of People magazine. Tabloid fodder aside, many child actors—Radcliffe among them—manage to transition from childhood superstardom to a successful adult acting career. Which child actor done good is your favorite?

Recent years have seen Liam Neeson move away from the typically dramatic roles that made up the first few decades of his career to more action-oriented fare, the latest example of which is The Grey, out in theaters this Friday. In the film, Neeson plays a man stranded in the Alaskan wilderness who must defend himself against a pack of angry wolves.
