Anne Hathaway Makes a Splash in Rachel Getting Married

After making a few documentaries, as he is wont to do from time to time, Jonathan Demme has returned to the land of fiction with Rachel Getting Married. The movie, which marks the screenwriting debut of Jenny Lumet, daughter of Sidney, hits theaters Friday, October 3, 2008. The film stars Anne Hathaway as Kym, the fresh-out-of-rehab sister of the titular character and a role that has garnered significant chatter on the festival circuit.
