Chris Corbould Lets Us In on 007’s Special Effects

Anticipation for Quantum of Solace, the latest James Bond movie, is becoming more and more palpable as we near the October 31 world premiere. Daniel Craig, who reprises his role as the vulnerable (but still oceans cooler than you) Bond that he portrayed masterfully in Casino Royale, might get most of the press, but none of the normal Bond escapades (explosions, car chases, more explosions, etc.) would be possible were it not for special effects supervisor Chris Corbould. As you count the days, notching each one on your bedpost, check out this clip of Corbould (who has worked on a total of seven Bond movies as well as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight) giving an update from the set.
