Ron Howard Moderates Frost/Nixon
Frost/Nixon, Ron Howard's latest, opens in New York and Los Angeles this Friday, December 5, 2008. The movie is based on Peter Morgan's play by the same name, which is, in turn, based on the historic real-life interview between David Frost and a then-resigned Richard Nixon. Morgan has penned the screenplay, Frank Langella and Michael Sheen reprise their stage roles as Nixon and Frost, respectively, a strong support network of Sam Rockwell, Kevin Bacon and Oliver Platt show up and Howard undoubtedly does that thing he always does—filter true events through a Hollywood lens and great actors to get enjoyable results.SHARE THIS STORY |
