hi.i have been a film lover all my life (it just happened,it was not my fault).one phrase i keep saying with my brothers is: “it is not the role that makes the actor but the reverse”.a nice example of this phrase are actors who played a minor role or for a minute maybe even less in a movie or just made a gesture that somehow stuck on our minds, and i found myself repeating the above very familiar phrase.i thought that it deserved a new topic of it’s own because i did not want to mix them with the famous actor-famous lines-famous movie-famous… which we all already have noticed and loved .there are others we have noticed ,maybe loved and kept it to ourselves or with a special friend or… and even made our bond with this person a little stronger.a line or a gesture for example that we saw together and we imitate to one another.and because of this it’s special. i can easily and eagerly start by referring to a couple of my own. the first comes from one hell of an actor (ok not the unknown type but give me a break,i think i am doing ok) called david patrick kelly.he played in the warriors (1979).in the end when the leader of one of the gangs ask him why he mislead everybody in thinking that the warriors killed their mentor-leader-something person, he says in his trembling-soft-phycho voice: “ i like doing things like that”.i always get a crack of being reminded and say (by imitating patrick,or at least try) this phrase.and it kind of sticks everywhere.another one is:in the movie breathless with richard gere there is a scene where gere is in a bank and they chase him.when the cops come the bank manager say he did not see anything.then a girl at the office says:"he went that way” and when they look at her she gives them a grimace.i always consider that scene one of the best scenes in a not that much loved by me at least movie.i do not know the actress name and maybe she is not famous and i do not know how talented she is.but i know that they gave her a minor to say the least role and she got my attention.maybe you are not that imressed with the examples but i think you got the point.i hope you write your own favourites.and i hope (ok just being joyful,it is not a requirement) that you will have the need to explain what the scene is because it will be one that we do not remember or have even heard of.thank you for reading all this.and sorry for any verbal mistakes.

In the movie “When Harry Met Sally” after Meg Ryan does the orgasm scene, the old woman says to the waiter...."I’ll have what she’s having.” Hilarious!!
