The Fountain

When this film first debuted at at Venice was it booed by audeinces and panned by critics for being nothing more than movie trying too hard too be a art film and being confusing. You know what everyone who hated this movie, go see Micheal bay movies and Big Moma’s house staright for a month. Then tell me how this visually beautiful and heart breaking film sucks. Aronoafsky has made another classic film after a long waited return after Requiem for a dream. This movie is one of the best sci-fi films ever made. However that’s not the best part of the Fountain. Aronofsky is a poet of film making and with the screenplay he wrote you see his heart pour into your lap. Now that would mean nothing if the actors weren’t up to the part. Jackman who’s proved to us that he’s a talent(X-men 1 and 2, the Prestige.) but here he gives us his best acting ever and Weisz also gives a terrific post-oscar performance. Although it floped in theatres the Fountain is a movie that deserves to become a classic and after Aronofsky turned down batman begins it better be come one.
