I’d say “Intacto.” It’s not just a great movie, it’s also an original work of mythology.

Likewise, “Bowling for Columbine” was pioneering social science as well as entertainment. It debunked popular myths about school shootings from both right and left, and then went searching for the real causes. Even if it didn’t find completely satisfying answers, that’s what a documentary should do.

An impossible question since the real budgets will never be known....aside from that, the seperation with the budget between above the line costs, below the line costs and marketing is also an issue…

released budgets in general are just marketing hype..
