We are looking for students or a “budding artist/actor/actress” who wants to gain experience and build their portfolio.
This is a children’s/toddlers show. It will be recorded in a professional Vancouver studio.
We are low (should say No budget) so no pay/cash/or in kind payment - BUT you will get your name in the credits on the show you do.
So you will get a copy of the show - DVD - that you can show use and we will give you a written reference.
Sound recordings will begin during the week starting Feb 22nd, 2010.

1. a sample of your voice (low quality if fine) so we can match you to a suitable character in the show.
2. List of any experience you have had - no experience is fine (we will just make allowance in our scheduling)
3. Indication of times you are available - ie days / evenings only / weekends only etc. so we can schedule things without to many back and forth emails....
4. Your indication that you will sign a release.
You must be prepared to sign a full release of the sound files before we go into the studio. So let me be quite clear - we will 100% own the files once they are recorded.
This is not a point for discussion - sorry - it is a must.
Our offer is simple:
You get:
1. Experience working in a professional studio with an experienced sound engineer
2.Your name in the credits of any show your voice is used in.
3. One copy of any show your voice is used on DVD for reference purposes only.
4. One written reference stating you were the voice over for that show.
We get:
100% ownership of the sound files to use in the show or for any promotional and support material we need.

Footnote: if you have access to professional quality sound recording equipment and want to do this remotely we will consider your application - just make sure you spell that out in your email. At this stage the only studio access we have will be in Vancouver, Canada.
