The best filmmakers I’ve ever worked for are Jesse T. Cook and John Geddes, who brought me to Collingwood, Ontario, to star in their “ruthless winter nightmare,” “Scarce.” In adition to writing, producing and directing, they play two of the snowboarders who become fodder for my cannibal character, Ivan.  When I read the script I noted that their characters spend a lot of time running barefoot through the snow in their underwear.  “That’ll look cool,” I said.  “How’re you going to fake it?” They said, “We’re going to run barefoot through the snow in our underwear.” And they did.  I love these guys and would work for them again in a heartbeat, even if I had to run barefoot through the snow in my underwear (although I’ve proposed a sequel, “Ivan Goes to Hawaii").
