On the evening of August 5, 2008, the Digital Cinema Society Northern California Chapter will come together to examine workflows for both the Sony XDCAM EX and RED One Cameras. Adobe gurus Kevan O’Brien and Giles Baker will present native XDCAM EX editing workflow using Premiere Pro CS3 and other CS3 software, give the latest details on their Cinema DNG initiative, and discuss (maybe even demonstrate) the new native RED R3D support in Adobe apps. Art Adams will present RED Build 16, color correcting RED, and his Wii spec spot; and Adam Wilt will talk about the EX1 and EX3 cameras.
