now are there really women in films as main characters that have made you inspired - complex (not strident) and actually active (not because of martial arts or famous spouses? wish it were an outdated subject, but instead wonder who the new women in cinema will come from?

I think the three women in “The Hours” were very interesting - they lived in different times and had different lives but were tied together in the narrative. Strong characters and a clever story.
