My name is Erik Brewer and I am starting a new company which produces science fiction stock video footage.

My first product line is StormCel Animation Sci-Fi Videos, Volume 1 which is a series of computer generated video clips of spaceships and spaceship interiors intended for use in movies. The clips are short and designed to be strung together to make a longer story (i.e. show clip of flyby as movie opens with narration of captains logs, cut to interior shot, etc.). Nice, I would like to see these Video Clips being incorporated in Video Games instead of Movies though.. Sorry to give you a bad feedback, but it doesn’t look life like or “real” in some instances to be clips for movies, one example: the white smoke on the red spaceship while under attack.

Thanks for your reply. As odd as it sounds, I like the bad feedback the best because it gives me an opportunity to find and make improvements.

I am already working on volume 2, and I am working on improving the realism of the videos as you suggest. Specifically, I am focusing on more realistic explosions, and improved lighting to improve the believability of the models. In response to your suggestion, I will develop and post a new, more realistic explosion sample in the (free) Downloads section of the website (should be done by this Sunday).

By the way, if you have any feedback on the website itself (layout, text, etc.), I would be interested in hearing it.
