We would like to extend an invitation for any and all film students & film makers interested in submitting documentary film work to the 6th annual Detroit Docs International Film Festival! This year’s festival is slated to take place October 22 - 26, 2008.Early submission deadline is July 1st, but we will be accepting late entries until July 15th.

The festival is open to a wide range of subject matter and techniques. We are interested in both traditional documentaries, as well as works that aesthetically or conceptually challenge the conventions of documentary film.

Please pass this information to anyone who might be interested in submitting work to this year’s festival.
