Good morning everyone.

I have just received for my birthday a gorgeous HD camcorder - it has been a surprise, really - which now I have to learn how to use and exploits at its most. Above all, since I come from photography world, I’d need some SIMPLE software to put together trimmed movies, adding some sound and titles and getting my first home made movie. I’d like to experiment a bit since in July there’s my first niece christening and I’d like to be ready to realize something nice for my brother.

The camcorder I have is the SR12E by Sony. Again, it has never been my field and I have no idea at all on which programs I need and how to use them. A simple and free program is welcome too.
