Ok, I am kinda new to the movie making industry. A friend of mine wanted to make a short movie to enter into a film festival. Well he shot some of it over at my house and let me help out and now i’m hooked. I have several good ideas that I really like but I don’t want them to be wasted on my first try. So what is a good way to get some practice with short films? Is there anyone on here from the houston area that is in the same situation? If so maybe we could help each other out. What are the best cameras to get say under $1500. what equipment will I need to turn out a decent short film? Anything you people can post will be appreciated.
