Can you name the world’s coolest film festivals?

That’s exactly what we’re intending to do in the upcoming Summer issue of MovieMaker--and are looking for the feedback of moviemakers on the festival circuit to share their experiences with us. Whether you just want to name names or give us some further info on why you think a particular fest is deserving of the title “world’s coolest,” email us at to tell us more.

Cannes Film Festival is the coolest one

Cannes is definitely the glitzyest and it’d be the coolest to be invited to. But London, which is on right now, is right in the centre of town, it’s completely accessible, anyone can go, we always go see a couple of films. And I think that makes it pretty cool.

I have no more idea about it but I prefer Hal-stead for world’s coolest film festivals. I think it is very suitable and good for coolest festival. Otherwise Oscar is also very famous and good for it.
