I have available a bank situation through an associate where there has to be a Standby Letter of Credit and then the bank will finance the whole thing at 4.4% due on the 5th year with nothing paid the first 2, not even interest. The 4.4% includes all points, everything, but the SBLC has to be with a reputable bank and the film budget has to be over five MM. The thing that has to be in place though is the SBLC then they will go from there.

The only other thing that is available to me, through their strategic partners, is that they have 30% liquid cash equity and are looking for matching funds. For example, say my partner and I have two films that we want to do and your friend has two films that he wants to do. The total budget for the four films is, just for arguments sake, 40MM. My associate would put up 30% of that, or 12MM and then your client would have to match that with cash equity. The other 40% is easy...gap financing...presales...tax credits/rebates, etc.
