I love it when new period pieces come out, but am wondering how successful others have been in MARKETING period scripts? It seems contemporary stories are the best way to break in. Does anyone have experience otherwise? What recommendations do others have about this? I have two scripts and one is a period piece that actually placed as a finalist in the FADE IN script contest, but marketing it or getting anyone to look at it has been next to impossible.
