Maybe too late for the issue, but…

Notting Hill is one of my favorite romantic movies.  Sure, it’s got Hugh Grant playing his only role, but if you can get past that, the concept is great.  What guy hasn’t dreamed of a chance meeting with Julia Roberts or Halle Berry or Meg Ryan and having them fall in love with him?  Or Miss Piggy.

truthfully what passes for “romantic” movies usually means “lame”

although Deliverance was romantic I guess, that whole “you sure do got a pretty mouth” scene
