I was just thinking that all those striking writers are probably still writing.  They’re just not writing on projects.  They’re writing their own specs.  So anyone trying to break in with a spec had better have a really good one…

I agree - writers never stop writing, I’m guessing.  They just aren’t doing it for clients at the moment, and are probably still cranking out good stuff (hopefully).
