I’d love to hear about homemade production gear.  What it is and how to use it?  Where to get the materials, the cost, and how to build it?  Anything; Gibs, dollies, steady cams, dolly track, or anything made up.  This also goes for FX and transport/storage.

Great job on the youtube and search sites, thats exactly what i was going to refer this person to. I have found that by researching home made items online, people show you how to do it,a nd you can go to your local store and ask for help once you write the instructions and blue print…

Thats what i will be doing for a dolly.

p.s. if you know any carpentor, thats very useful as well..they can even just see the video themselves and help you out, unless you are extremely handy yourself. (which i am not)
