We take great care to cover your every need. Recognition? Yes, with over $20,000 in prizes to back the acknowledgment. Guest Services? You will have your own GS person to guide you wherever and whenever necessary. Parties? Let's just say that we are the 'Animal House' of festivals--only slightly more refined thanks to the restaurants (Merenda, run by San Francisco celeb chef Jody Denton), entertainment and bars that support the festival. BendFilm Festival is a destination that festival fairy tales are made of. Small town, scenic, full of character and yet, there's no attitude. "Altitude without Attitude" is a favored motto. We don't allow red velvet ropes within the city boundaries during the month of October. Instead we stage a festival that provides you every bit of access to the action, the esteemed jurors & industry vets for the opportunities and the fun.

Doorpost Awards $300,000 to “Undiscovered” Moviemakers

The Doorpost Film Project, a “contest aimed at discovering and developing moviemakers capable of producing films that inspire and influence rather than simply entertain,” just finished round one and is now left with 15 finalists who are described by Nathan Elliott, the Project's director, as “a globally, ethnically and racially diverse group of filmmakers that have one important thing in common: They're enormously talented."
