Ann Arbor Film Festival
http://www.aafilmfest.orgThe Ann Arbor Film Festival is the longest-running showcase of independent, experimental and artistically-inspired films in North America. Founded in 1963, the AAFF is steeped in a rich tradition of ground-breaking cinema having showcased early work of luminaries such as Kenneth Anger, Agnes Varda, Andy Warhol, Yoko Ono, Gus Van Sant, and George Lucas. The AAFF provides more than $20,000 in filmmaker awards and serves as an Academy Award®-qualifying festival. The AAFF is a pioneer of the traveling film festival tour and each year presents a "best of" program at theaters, universities and museums around the world.
