Apple-Certified Final Cut Pro Training Center, offers film editing classes in New York City. At the heart of The Edit Center curriculum is our six-week Art of Editing Course, which brings together independent filmmakers who need their movies edited and beginning editors who are looking to learn the craft while working on a feature film (recent projects include The Great World of Sound and Trucker). The class is taught by accomplished editors whose credits include Sicko, The Squid and the Whale, Garden State, Maria Full of Grace, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Girlfight and "The Wire." Edit Center Alumni have gone on to work on films such as Little Miss Sunshine, Half Nelson, Control Room, No End in Sight and Matchpoint, among others. Beverly Hills Chihuahua is Leader of the Pack

New Disney family film Beverly Hills Chihuahua found its way to the top this past weekend, grossing an impressive $29 million. Last weekend's box office-topper, Eagle Eye, took the number two spot with $17.7 million. Michael Cera comedy Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist claimed number three with a gross of $12 million while number four went to the romantic Nights in Rodanthe (last week's number two) with $7.4 million. Rounding out the top five was Ed Harris' critically acclaimed Western Appaloosa. The buzzed-about How To Lose Friends & Alienate People came in well below expectations, making only $1.4 million and barely hanging on at number 19.
