NY Post|Production Conference Returns to New York

The fifth annual NY Post|Production Conference, organized by the digital media training center Future Media Concepts in association with the National Association of Broadcasters, will be held in New York City from October 5-8, 2009. At the conference, leading industry professionals will instruct attendees on the new technology needed by those pursuing careers in the production, post-production, broadcast and new media fields.

The conference, according to Future Media Concepts president and co-founder Ben Kozuch, “is dedicated to keeping the content creation community in step with emerging technology and techniques. Now more than ever, it is critical for creatives to be able to master the range of tools—and not just one solution. They need to know multiple applications from numerous vendors. The competition is so fierce today that being certified may be the difference in landing that big job or not… NY Post|Production provides an accelerated learning environment in which creatives can learn the latest techniques and technologies without breaking the bank.”

The conference provides certification workshops on Apple® Final Cut Pro® or Motion®, as well as a workshop geared toward producers and directors which instructs its attendees on topics including documentary interviews, independent film distribution and location management. The conference also provides the opportunity to network with other professionals in the fields of video, TV, film and new media.

The fifth annual NY Post|Production Conference takes place at the Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square; discounts are available for those who register early. For more information visit http://www.nypostconference.com.
