The Dark Knight Wins MovieTickets.com Challenge

This summer is unusually packed full of comic book and graphic novel adaptations, starring old favorites and some fresh faces. In light of this trend, MovieTickets.com ran a poll asking which superhero will win the summer’s number one spot. Here’s what the online community had to say:

The Dark Knight, starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, won the challenge, with 38 percent of the vote, with Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr., coming in a close second with 35 percent. Only 10 percent of MovieTickets.com’s readers were await Will Smith in Hancock, with Wanted, starring James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie, and Edward Norton as The Incredible Hulk rounding out the top five with nine and eight percent of the vote, respectively.

Only time will tell which of these superheroes will reign supreme this summer!
