Have an idea for a TV show that you think has commercial prospects? Now you can find out: Sell Your TV Concept Now, Inc. encourages students with ideas for viable TV series to apply for their Hit Makers Summit Scholarship. The scholarship, open to students who have been enrolled in television or film production programs, includes the registration fee for the March 2008 Hit Makers Summit. Need more convincing to apply? The Summit will be held at Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida.
Three scholarships are available to undergraduates and recently graduated students (students must have graduated within the past year) of at least 18 years of age. Applications are due by February 22; winners will be notified by February 25. Scholarships will be awarded based on an idea’s creativity and originality, and the quality of the written proposal.
The Hit Makers Summit, to be held from March 3 – 5, offers students the chance to network with experienced television writers, producers and executives. In workshops, participants will refine their ideas and hone pitches. The scholarship covers registration at the summit, valued at $1,447. Winners must supply their own transportation to the summit.

I have developed a unique reality show concept based on the company I work for and its empoyees--we have recently submitted it to various agencies and production firms. About a month ago when got a bite. An accomplished producer, met with my company’s President and myself. He determind that concept has legs, but needs some developing. There seems to be good synergy between us and the prodction company, but the figure that has been thrown out seems a little high--especially since we’ve found that this service is often probono. My real question is, is there a reputable site that we can post our reality concept...a site that producers and networks search for the “next big thing?” Please note: we would rather pay to post on a good site, as opposed to sumbitting it to a so-so, free site.
I look forward to any insight or suggestions!

I am a pamela in germany and I desperately need a scholarship into the US. You would be very helpful if you could state some websites where I can get these scholarships to study in the US. Or if possible give me websites which could give me financial assistance for my education via western union or money gram.

Studying at GBS is a life changing experience. With emphasis on intellectual discovery and critical thinking, our students are provided an environment for both intellectual discourse and experiencing corporate life. Our faculty are teacher-scholars and constantly engage the learner community to pursue academic and careers goals with the rigour that it deserves.

Nice! Developing a TV show concept is not easy at all but it’s worth it, that’s for sure! I don’t know if I could do that. I have an master in public health degree, and it’s very useful. I want to gather some very creative students with good ideas and tell then what to do. I’m kidding of course. Anyway, great opportunity; good luck, everyone!
