The American Film Institute announced their picks for the AFI Awards 2007 yesterday, which bestows honors on ten American feature-length films each year. All movies honored have made a significant contribution to furthering the art of moviemaking, inspired audiences and/or made a mark on American society.

This year’s AFI awards will be presented on January 11, 2008 to: Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Into the Wild, Juno, Knocked Up, Michael Clayton, No Country for Old Men, Ratatouille, The Savages, There Will Be Blood.
