National Board of Review Awards Previews the 2009 Oscars

If the National Board of Review awards are a hint of what’s to be expected at this year’s Academy Awards, then we’re all in for one hell of an Oscar night. Independent movies upset the studio features, with late entrant Slumdog Millionaire leading the pack as Best Film, relegating popular favorites like The Dark Knight and WALL-E to be among the Top Ten.
