This exciting film is based on the last few years in the life of public enemy number one: Bank robber extraordinaire John Dillinger (Johnny Depp). Under the direction of J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup), FBI agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) successfully caught and killed Pretty Boy Floyd (Channing Tatum) and Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham), but he failed time after time to catch Dillinger.
