John Cooper Steps into Director Position at Sundance

The Sundance Institute has announced that former director of festival programming, John Cooper, is now the official director of the world-famous Sundance Film Festival. Cooper replaces Geoff Gilmore, the longtime former director who resigned earlier this year after more than two decades with the fest. Cooper's new responsibilities as director will include leading the programming and future growth of the festival, along with supervising the festival's content production and furthering its multiple partnerships.
